Our advocacy activities include: patient rights, matters of privacy, confidentiality or informed consent, patient representation, awareness building, and support and education or patients, survivors and their caregivers.
There are many doctors, physical therapists, plastic surgeons, who come to Tanzania committed to making a difference. But, without phones, internet, or electricity they don't have a way to identify patients. Through local based outreach and our personal relationships, we connect patients to the best treatment whether in the next village over or the other side of the world.
Patients come to us with a range of diseases: HIV, cancer, malaria, diabetes, schizophrenia, tuberculosis, just to name a few.
